Dr. David Hirschauer is the Chief of Pain Management and Anesthesiology at The Bonati Spine Institute. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at South Dakota State University, Brookings, SD and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, Des Moines, IA. He completed his Internship at the Wellington Regional Medical Center, West Palm Beach, FL. This was followed by a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, FL and residency training in Pain Management at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, FL.

Dr. Hirschauer’s professional experience before joining The Bonati Spine Institute includes the Chief of Anesthesia at St. Petersburg General Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL and Physicians’ Community Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL. Dr. Hirschauer is also a Commissioned Commander in the United States Naval Reserve Medical Corps. Dr. Hirschauer is a Diplomate of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners and the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology.
