Hudson, Florida (February 21, 2018) World Congress, The Health Rosetta Institute and The Validation Institute announced The Bonati Spine Institute as a finalist in the ‘Direct Care Provider’ validated categories for the 2018 Health Value Awards (HVA).

More than 350 health care organizations and employers were nominated in 13 categories. Finalists in validated categories – Third Party Administrators, Direct Care Providers and Product/Program Providers – must have their performance calculation methodologies validated by the Validation Institute to be eligible for an award. In most cases, the information required for validation was already submitted in the initial HVA application. Once validated, each finalist application will be independently reviewed by the panel of nationally prominent judges, which may determine that not every finalist merits an award. The goal is to shine a bright light on health care organizations that consistently deliver significant value, relative to their peers, within health care niches and that promote essential price and outcomes transparency.

HVA participants are evaluated along two or three dimensions. In validated categories, each participant is required to satisfy the objective performance calculation validation requirement. Then a series of questions gauges the participant’s market viability. Finally, each participant is subjectively evaluated on the relative impact it can have in health care, as well as on the elegance or innovativeness of the solution.

Other finalist in the ‘Direct Care Provider’ validated categories include: Aravind Eye Hospitals, Health City Cayman Islands, Integrated Musculoskeletal Care, Redirect Health, Wellness-for-Life and Vera Whole Health. The judges will determine winners and ranking of Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards on March 30, 2018. The HVA awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the Marriot Wardman Park Hotel in Washington DC.

About The Bonati Spine Institute

Alfred O. Bonati, M.D., the founder and chief orthopaedic surgeon of the Bonati Spine Institute, created and developed advanced surgical techniques and instrumentation to treat back, neck and joint problems including bulging and herniated discs, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, pinched nerves, etc. These techniques, exclusive to the Bonati Spine Institute, produce a patient satisfaction rate of 98.75%. For over 30 years, these procedures have been perfected, virtually eliminating the need for invasive open spine surgery, like spinal fusions, as well as the less effective, commonly phrased, “minimally invasive” surgeries. The Bonati Spine Institute holds multiple U.S. patents on its instrumentation and techniques and has performed more than 55,000 procedures, with 65% of those patients having previously undergone failed surgeries at other facilities. Locations include Hudson, FL, Las Vegas, NV and Dallas, TX (opening in 2018).
