

The Bonati Institute, the leader for advanced arthroscopic spine surgery, has expanded its nationally and internationally acclaimed team of experts. Board Certified Neurosurgeon Robert P. Uteg, M.D. will join the 12 experienced physicians already on their medical staff. Dr. Uteg’s specialty is computer navigation-assisted spinal surgery, with a special interest in minimally-invasive lumbar disc surgery.
Prior to joining The Bonati Institute, Dr. Uteg practiced neurosurgery in Mississippi, Tennessee and Illinois, serving on the staffs of St. Dominic Neurosurgical Associates, Jackson Neurosurgery Clinic and Winfield Neurosurgical Associates.
Dr. Uteg received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his surgical internship and neurosurgical training at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
