Diagnostic Services
The physicians at The Bonati Institute use a variety of techniques, tests and instruments to determine a patient's health status. The use of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment helps our highly experienced and skilled physicians improve the quality of life for many people. The key to successful treatment, and a life free of pain, is extensive and detailed diagnosis prior to surgery. In nearly every case, proper diagnosis begins with analysis of recent MRI or CT Scan film. MRI, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging, is a safe and painless method for viewing the inside of the human body. MRI can provide two- or three-dimensional perspectives for diagnosis and can visualize parts of the body not seen by other imaging technologies. The Imaging Center at The Bonati Institute houses an MRI Diagnostic Facility with a complete Philips Panorama, Open MRI. Each patient visiting The Bonati Institute will be examined by a member of our skilled physician team. Following the examination and the doctors' review of the test results, The Bonati Institute will determine the status of the patient's current health as well as the origin of the pain the patient is experiencing.
Upon completion of the examination, the doctor will suggest the appropriate treatment or further orthopedic evaluation. Patients who suffer from the following ailments should consider a pre-operative consultation with The Bonati Institute.
